Event description
This training course has been developed in order to provide Wandsworth Councils Children’s Social Services Managers with a firm theoretical and practical understanding of Mosaic navigation, administration and Workflow functions, as well as Wandsworth Councils Mosaic recording standards with a specific focus on manager tasks and practices.
Training objectives
This training aims to provide managers with the skills and knowledge to manage their team's casework and work effectively with the system.

The bespoke modular course focuses on the following themes:


  • Managing your team's workload

  • Case Quality Assurance

  • Manager tasks in Mosaic (authorising requests, case supervision etc.)

  • Utilising Office 365 technology to work smarter



Only modules relevant to the attendees will be covered to ensure effective training provision.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this training, attendees will know how to:


  •  Manage Work Folders and case load of the team

  •  Manage new starters, movers and leavers in the team

  •  Allocate cases and assign work to team

  •  Support the team to improve

  •  Quality Assure data within Mosaic

  •  Respond to authorisation requests

  •  Deal with dispute resolutions (where appropriate)

  •  Task Business Support Officers 

  •  Utilise naming conventions for case notes and documents

Joining instructions will be sent out a day or two before the session.  Training is delivered via Microsoft Teams.
