Code: SCB/21/0174 Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) Knowledge and Skills Exchange (KSE)

The FNP is an evidenced-based, opt-in, home visiting programme for first time (young) parents.

This service is delivered by Family Nurses who are highly skilled practitioners in, engaging clients, recognising their change talk and, guiding clients into making healthier choices for them and their baby.

KSE is an opportunity to learn from the FNP in their specialist knowledge across 4 workshops which will take place on a Ā½ to 1 day training.

The aims of KSE is to deliver training that will build on the practitioners knowledge and respectfully challenge them to refresh or improve their skills while recognise their own strengths. It hopes to deliver outcomes for the Practitioner to have a plan for implementing their learning into practice.

• How to complete MARAC referral form
• Your role at MARAC, presenting and sharing research
• Understand the importance of information sharing and referring to MARAC
The briefings are intended to be informal sessions where I will be available to provide information, answer any questions and assist with any queries attendees might have.
